7.3.1 General Training for Conduct of Research

POGO shall be responsible for facilitating and collecting documentation of the POGO Satellite Clinic team’s completion of core clinical research training including:
- Tri-Council Policy Statement: Ethical Conduct for Research Involving Humans – TCPS 2 (2022) (Online Tutorial: http://tcps2core.ca/welcome)
- International Council for Harmonization of Technical Requirements for Pharmaceuticals for Human Use (ICH) Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training (online)
- Division 5 training (online)
- ICH-GCP training and Division 5 training can both be completed through the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) Program
The completed training certificates will be forwarded to the specialized childhood cancer programs and stored in the study files.
POGO shall be responsible for the collection of DSIs’ signed and dated curriculum vitae (CV) and medical licenses. Signed and dated CVs will be collected every two years; medical licenses will be collected yearly. These will be forwarded to the specialized childhood cancer programs and kept with the specialized childhood cancer program physicians’ documents.
