POGO’s Provincial Pediatric Oncology AfterCare Program provides coordinated, long-term follow-up care for survivors of childhood cancer, helping them stay as healthy as possible.

POGO AfterCare Clinics promote wellness and empower survivors through education about their health. Clinics provide regular monitoring for the late effects of cancer treatment, enabling early detection and timely management of potential health issues. In addition, the clinics screen for secondary cancers—an important risk associated with certain cancer therapies—and offer essential psychosocial support to survivors as they navigate life after treatment.
