The Difference You Are Making

Your commitment to POGO and to changing the lives of children for the better gives hope to those impacted by childhood cancers.

As new treatments and technologies continue to increase the rate of survival for childhood cancer, care for these children, their families and survivors is becoming more and more complex. That’s why POGO is there for them from the start, and for as long as they need us, providing care, support, even financial help. Whatever it takes to make a difference, and change a life.

Thank you for your incredible support. Together, we have achieved so much.

Parents shouldn’t have to worry about money when their child is battling cancer.
Last year, POGO’s Financial Assistance Program provided $799,315 to 819 Ontario families for the out-of-pocket expenses associated with their child’s cancer treatment.

All childhood cancers meet the definition of a #raredisease, with fewer than six cases per 100,000 children each year. However, #Childhoodcancer continues to be the most common cause of disease-related deaths among Ontario children over the age of one. https://bit.ly/3sIiSpd
