Presentation Description: This workshop focused on the psychological and social issues that individuals and families often experience following disclosure of cancer genetic test results. Discussion topics included what is known about family communication, distress, and uptake of screening and risk-reducing surgeries. Emphasis was placed on the emotional impact of knowing about personal and familial hereditary cancer risk information. NOTE: This presentation is audio only.
