Workshop A – Configuring Team Roles: Who Tells Who What?

Presentation Description: Disclosure is a critical component of genetic testing, one that can be fraught with challenges. This presentation addressed the issue of determining which medical professional on the team should be selected to deliver the initial information/disclosure, as well as who is best suited to handle the subsequent issues and concerns. In addition, this presentation featured a discussion of how to work with different parental personality types and how to ensure that people are given the information they need to make informed choices.
