This session will review the endocannabinoid system, medical ingredients of cannabis, review relevant paediatric oncology cases, prescribing and dosing.

Michael Verbora completed his medical degree at the University of Western Ontario. He then went on to complete his family medicine residency training at Toronto Western Hospital at the University of Toronto. Prior to his medical studies, Dr. Verbora completed his masters of business administration (MBA) from the Odette School of Business.
He has a clinical interest in cannabinoid medicine and has a special focused practice designation in pain medicine. To date Dr. Verbora has completed over two thousand initial consultations for cannabinoid therapy. He has also presented for the Ontario College of Family Physicians, Princess Margaret Hospital, Toronto Western Hospital and has been commissioned as a medical expert to European Parliament as an expert in cannabinoid medicine.
Dr. Verbora is a member of CCIC (Canadian Consortium for the Investigation of Cannabinoids), Doctors for Responsible Access (DRA), and the Canadian Pain Society (CPS). He also maintains a student health practice and provides house visits for the frail and elderly.
