Speaker
Shay Cannon, RN,
POGO Pediatric Oncology Satellite Clinic Nurse,
Peterborough Regional Health Centre (PRHC)

Shay Cannon is the POGO Paediatric Oncology Satellite Nurse at Peterborough Regional Health Centre. A nursing graduate of Sir Sandford Fleming College, she began her nursing career in pediatrics at Peterborough Regional Health Centre in 1998.  In 2008, she began working with pediatric oncology patients and it was during this time that her interest and passion for caring for this population developed.  Her goal was to provide care closer to home for these children and families.  On September 24, 2018, the eighth POGO Satellite Clinic opened in Peterborough.
