Birthday Parties for POGO

EAstamp_mediumBirthday parties look a little different these days, but you don’t have to cut the celebration short! Plan a virtual birthday party, invite your friends and raise some money for POGO at the same time. ECHOage handles all the details – free online invitations, an RSVP tracker, thank you notes, and more.

It’s fun for kids, easy on parents, and impactful for kids with cancer and their families.

HOST A PARTY

Why we chose POGO for our sons’ ECHOage party…

“When choosing a charity for our sons’ ECHOage birthday party, we knew we wanted to support a children’s organization. We have healthy and happy boys and wanted to help families that were not as fortunate. We can only imagine how horrible it would be to have a child diagnosed with cancer, to have to uproot your family to a new city and recreate some semblance of normal life when most of your day is taken up with hospital visits. We were so touched by the support that POGO is able to provide: food, accommodation, babysitting for siblings left at home when the parents are at the hospital…these are basic needs.

The reaction from our friends and family has been overwhelming. Everyone was excited to support such a worthy organization and I think they were more generous because it was such a great cause. And Emmett and Shane were happy too, they got the toys they really wanted: a bike, a wagon and race cars!

Thankfully we do not know anyone personally affected by childhood cancer, but it is reassuring to know that POGO is there for families who are.”
