Our Donors

With Gratitude

We are inspired by our multiple partners and passionate donors who share our vision and enable informed solutions critical to our success.

Our sincerest gratitude to our donors and grantors for their dedication to championing childhood cancer care. With your continued investment in POGO, we achieve the best childhood cancer care system for children, youth, their families and survivors in Ontario and beyond.

POGO also gratefully acknowledges funding from the Ministry of Health for supporting our clinical activities at partner hospitals and the system-wide coordination of childhood cancer care in Ontario.

The Difference You Are Making

Parents shouldn’t worry about money when their child is battling cancer.
Last year, the POGO Financial Assistance Program provided $533,000 to 645 Ontario families for out-of-pocket expenses associated with their child’s cancer treatment.

Sometimes cancer-free is not enough.
Childhood cancers, brain tumours and their treatments can lead to long-lasting learning challenges. Last year, 402 survivors received services from the five POGO Counsellors.

Research is transforming child health.
POGO research contributes to a better understanding of childhood cancer and improves outcomes for children with cancer and their families.

Education leads to the best care and the best possible outcomes.
POGO continues to identify, examine and address the challenges of caring for children with cancer. Our training and professional development opportunities ensure that our healthcare professionals remain at the forefront of childhood cancer care.

Your commitment to POGO and changing children’s lives for the better gives hope to those impacted by childhood cancers. Thank you for your incredible support. Together, we have achieved so much.
