WAYS TO HELP HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS PATIENTS & FAMILIES SURVIVORS

Research Participants Wanted


Angela Zwiers (M.Sc., Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, University of Western Ontario) is conducting a study examining the meaning of ‘survivor’, as constructed by those who have had a childhood or adolescent brain tumour. If you are between the ages of 18 and 28 and have had a brain tumour during your childhood or adolescent years, please click HERE for a letter from Angela and HERE for the study’s recruitment poster. 


Rebecca Birch (PhD Student, Paediatric Epidemiology Group, Centre for Epidemiology & Biostatistics, University of Leeds) is assessing the international differences in professional opinion about the care of adolescents and young adults with cancer. The questionnaire has been distributed in the UK via the Teenagers and Young Adults with Cancer group (TYAC) and the Children's Cancer and Leukaemia Group (CCLG). Healthcare professionals can complete the questionnaire HERE.
