The Daffodil Terrace Lodge is your home away from home while receiving treatment at the Northeast Cancer Centre at Health Sciences North (HSN). The Lodge is a warm and friendly environment that provides you with access to a number of amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. The hours of operation for the Lodge are Sunday at 3 pm to Friday at 4 pm.
In order to stay at the Lodge while receiving treatment at the Northeast Cancer Centre (NECC), the patient must: Be registered with the NECC and have a scheduled visit with the oncologists or consultants at the centre.Live more than 40 kilometers away from the Lodge.Be able to manage your activities of daily living including.Book your room in advance by calling (800) 465-6343.You may require an authorized, full-time companion to stay with you if: you require some assistance with your activities of daily living, you are 16 years of age or under, or you would normally live in a nursing home. Please ask the Lodge staff for more information regarding your eligibility.
Accommodation fee of $10 per night.The accommodation fee will also be applied to the $25 per night that guests living 200 km or more away (one way) currently pay, totaling their stay to $35 per night.Patients that live 200 km and beyond (one-way) from the Lodge may be eligible to qualify for an accommodation allowance of $100.00 per treatment trip through the Northern Health Travel Grant.
