| Chair in Childhood Cancer Control The POGO Chair in Childhood Cancer Control is a top level, visionary leader who works with hospitals, researchers, the government, parents and survivors to develop new policies. |

| POGO Financial Assistance Program (POFAP) The POGO Financial Assistance Program (POFAP) is a reimbursement fund for families with children in active cancer treatment. The Program currently provides approximately $800,000 each year to over 900 families in Ontario. |

| Networked Information System (POGONIS) When POGO was founded in 1983, it was noted that there was no standardized, provincial registry on pediatric cancer in Ontario. The development of such a registry and database was identified as a top priority. The database that was built evolved into what is now known as the Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario Networked Information System (POGONIS). |

| Aftercare Clinics The POGO AfterCare clinics monitor and promote the health of survivors, and enable POGO to gather information on the late effects as they manifest. This leads to the identification of interventions and treatment modifications to reduce the impact of late effects for future survivors. |

| POGO Research Unit (PRU) The POGO Research Unit (PRU) was initiated in 1996, with a mandate to focus on research that contributes to a better understanding of childhood cancer control and improved outcomes for children with cancer and their families. |

| Successful Academic and Vocational Transitional Initative (SAVTI) The Successful Academic and Vocational Transition Initiative (SAVTI) is a pilot project implemented in partnership with George Brown College, in collaboration with the Hospital for Sick Children. It is designed to assist survivors who , as a result of their disease and/or treatment, have developed learning difficulties that interfere with the achievement of their educational and career goals. |
