L'Hotel offers lower rates to everyone staying in the hotel if they:<br>- are from out of town visiting<br>- have children in a local hospital<br>- have dentist/doctor appointments<br>- they themselves have an appointment<br>(Anything medical-related is acceptable)
Accommodation is an important issue for families of childhood cancer patients who require treatment away from their home town. There are a number of agencies that provide financial assistance for accommodation costs. (See section entitled Financial Assistance: Accommodation.) In addition, some agencies provide assistance in locating accommodation services for families.
Note: there may be specific eligibility requirements. For example, some services will only pay for accommodation if travel is required beyond a certain distance.
