Delta London Armouries Hotel offers reduced rates for patients and their family members who are either staying or being treated at a hospital. Reduced rates are also available for individuals in critical care.
Accommodation is an important issue for families of childhood cancer patients who require treatment away from their home town. There are a number of agencies that provide financial assistance for accommodation costs. (See section entitled Financial Assistance: Accommodation.) In addition, some agencies provide assistance in locating accommodation services for families.
Note: there may be specific eligibility requirements. For example, some services will only pay for accommodation if travel is required beyond a certain distance.
| Available for: | Patient or patient's family members who are either staying or being treated at a hospital. Reduced rates are also available for individuals who are critically ill. |
| Referral: | Patients who are seeking the $65 rate (critical care) must have the hospital fax over the appropriate form. (All local hospitals have these forms available to them). |
| Hours: | 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Please note that the reservation line stays open. |
