2012 AfterCare Education Day – Travel & Accommodations
POGO receives some funding from the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care (MOHLTC) to provide this educational opportunity. For those actively involved in the care of childhood cancer survivors in Ontario, the event is provided free of charge and pre-approved travel and accommodation costs will be reimbursed. Please make note of the following policies and procedures prior to booking any travel and/or accommodation arrangements:
ACCOMMODATION INFORMATION & REIMBURSEMENT POLICIES
- POGO has reserved a block of rooms at the Hilton Toronto. If you require accommodations, please contact Clara Jordan at cjordan@pogo.ca or 416-592-1232, ext. 237 to request a room reservation. Reservations must be requested by Monday, January 9th.
- Accommodations will only be reimbursed for the night of Thursday, February 2nd and are available to those delegates travelling from outside of the GTA.
- Depending on how many accommodation requests are received, rooms may need to be shared. POGO will make every effort to place you with the colleague of your choice.
- POGO is unable to reimburse accommodation arrangements made at other hotels.
TRAVEL INFORMATION & REIMBURSEMENT POLICIES
- All travel arrangements must be pre-approved by POGO in order to be eligible for reimbursement. Please contact Clara Jordan with the details of your travel plans prior to booking if you plan to request reimbursement following the event.
- Participants must cover their travel costs up front; reimbursement will take place following the event.
- POGO is only able to cover economy class ground transportation. Flights will not be covered for delegates except under special circumstances.
